This summer’s trend scope has engaged many women into the juiciest, hottest outfits and accessories this season has to offer for everyone’s unique personal style. These must-haves include the simple chic fashion statement ROMPERS & JUMPSUITS, they’re back in the fashion scene again and ripping the runway, my personal FC favourite. The fabulous thing about JUMPSUITS is that you can pull it on and GO!
Fresh from the RUNWAY!!
Peter Som
Sweetheart Neckline Romper
Add OVERSIZED ACCESSORIES such as an oversized belt, based on the style of your jumpsuit, also an oversized plain or a pop of colour sunglasses and chunky stackable bangles then you’re all set.

The outfit was worn by celeb Kim Kardashian. Her curvaceous “to die for” body perfectly fits into this jumpsuit. I absolutely love Kim. She has a great sense of style that is classy, simple and chic. Her outfits always extenuates her body type, but never over done.

Loop it and Tie it
A girlie, childhood inspired piece BOWS are ripping the trend market. Who would have thought ribbon/bow hair accessory that your mom used to put in your hair is now making its “pretty” look on dresses, shorts and accessories. This is one trend you have to be careful how you were it because it can be overbearing. Should your bow on your outfit be large DO NOT over accessorize. At lease one accessory is good. Whether it is a cute clutch, a bracelet or simply earrings, stud or chandelier, and be sure that your outfit is a solid colour, mainly with an oversized bow.
As U Wish Bow Dress

Tired and Ruined
Let’s just say that 80’s style has invaded this millennium’s fashion scene. We’re back in DISTRESSED DENIM adding more flare to your denim wardrobe.
Keep it simple with a graphic tee or a solid colour baby tee with a cute vest, even a boyfriend sweater. The denim itself is overpowering so it’s best to keep it simple above the waist and on the bottom, pair it with a simple gladiator shoes the elongate your legs or flat gladiator sandals.

Siwy “Hannah Slim Crop Jean”
These light weight stretch denim has a snug fit that gives provides a slimming effect on your legs. It is simple, yet it is eye catching and it makes a statement. This jean was worn by the breathtakingly gorgeous Megan Fox.
The denim cost $198. A little pricy for rips and tears in your jeans, but it’s worth it to have at least one pair that is durable.

Taste of the Tropics

It’s summertime so turn it up a notch with your makeup and skin care regimen. Fruity, pop of colours are in for the summer, once again, and for a long time. This season’s colours are inspired by the beautiful surroundings of tropical exotic islands. Inspirations are drawn from tropical fruits, such as mangoes and tropical birds, such as the Tuscan.
Wanting to incorporate a ray of colour in your makeup? Well, it’s always best to keep it simple and sexy, KISS theory, and apply colour to your best features for more of a pop. See Rhianna’s picture below for example.

Rhianna has taken the Good Girl Gone Bad approach when it comes to her makeup lately. The Barbadian beauty’s since contract with Cover Girl has taken a bold, edgy, sophisticated statement with her makeup regimen.
Rhianna’s Exotic to die for signature lipstick is CoverGirl’s True Shine Hot Pink Lip colour. She also wears and promotes CoverGirl’s Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers. I absolutely love this colour on her.
She is the Flagrant Chic of this week! Are you bold enough? Dare you try this colour.

CoverGirl True Shine Lip Colour Hot Pink Shine 445

CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers, Berry Splash 500 and Grape Splash 545
Both “lip popping” gloss and stick are for $6.99 at Shopper’s Drugmart, a great buy; nonetheless, a great investment. The Fruit Spritzers are great for casual wear. It has a fruity scent and flavour that adds a luminous shine to your lips.
Silky Smooth
Summers can be hot and dry, but your skin doesn’t have to reflect the weather conditions.
Daily moisturizing is essential to beautiful, hydrated looking skin. Use regular or anti-aging night creams, such as Nivea Visage Q10 that will provide extra moisture to you skin when you sleep and a lighter moisturizers, such as Oil of Olay Complete that is an all day moisturizer with SPF 15 that is used in the daytime where skin tends to get oily from the debris in the air. I have sensitive and blemish skin, so it’s difficult for me to use any moisturizer. I’ve tried everything over the counter and prescription when it comes to facial products and these two products work wonders for me as a moisturizer.
Beauty and skin care is all about trial and error to find what works best for your skin type.

Oil of Olay Complete All Day Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for $11.99 at Shopper’s Drugmart. Price may vary depending on location and promotional offer.
Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle Reducer Night Cream for $18.99 at Shopper’s Drugmart. Price may vary depending on location and promotional offer.
For the light users of foundation I recommend Smashbox Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 (you always need a moisturizer with SPF for UV protection).
Should your skin be super duper sensitive, this product is fabulous because it is oil, paraben and fragrance-free. It is enriched with vitamins C and E, as well as anti-aging peptides to maintain the elasticity of your skin.

It is sold in 5 different shades: luminous, fair, light, medium and dark for $30 at Sephora.
